There’s really not a lot to tell about myself. A guy who happens to like for poetry. I read poetry back in high school in literature classes as a have to, with a few penned in simple rhyming styles. It was in my first two years of college that I continued my pursuit of poetry of both reading and writing. It was then that I read what has become one of my favorite poems … “We Wear the Mask” by Paul Laurence Dunbar. I have not learned poetry via classroom or education. I know little of educated poetry, and therefore write a plain-man’s poetry. Enjoy whatever poetry comes this way.
